We screen print on the Gold Coast for a reason. Proper ink, proper cure, built to survive the job site, the ride, and the washing machine.
If your print peels or fades within 12 months of purchase, we will sort it - refund, replacement, or store credit. No forms, no drama, no questions (beyond an order number and a photo).
1. What's Covered
This guarantee covers defects in the screen print itself under normal wear and care, including:
— Ink peeling away from the fabric
— Colours fading, washing out, or going dull under normal use
— Print cracking across large solid areas
— Any other manufacturing defect in the print
2. What's Not Covered
Fine line micro-cracking after extended heavy use
This isn't a defect - it's physics.
Screen printing pushes ink into fabric. On ultra-fine lines (think hair-thin detail work), the ink layer is thinner than a human hair. After 70+ washes and 500+ days of wear, those lines can develop micro-cracks when the fabric stretches and moves.
It doesn't mean your tee is rooted. It means you've actually worn it.
Care instruction misuse
Damage resulting from failure to follow OMENZ care instructions is not covered. Our care instructions are:
— Cold machine wash only — under 30°C
— Wash inside out
— Hang dry — do not tumble dry
— Iron inside out on a cool setting if needed
— Do not bleach
— Do not use industrial solvents or harsh chemical products on the garment
— Do not expose to prolonged direct sunlight or UV — this includes extended outdoor drying in direct sun
Following these care instructions is a condition of this guarantee. If a print failure is clearly attributable to misuse or non-compliance with care instructions, the claim will not be honoured. In genuine cases of print defect, we will always take the customer's side.
3. How to Make a Claim
Email info@omenz.com.au with:
1. Your order number
2. A clear photo showing the issue
We will reply within one business day to confirm receipt and provide our return address. Please do not send the garment until you have heard back from us.
Once we receive and inspect the returned garment, we will process your chosen remedy within 3 business days.
4. Your Remedy Options
Our preferred and default remedy is a full refund. If you would prefer an alternative, we also offer:
— A replacement garment of the same design and size (subject to stock availability)
— Store credit to the value of the original purchase
You choose. We will follow your lead.
If your preferred remedy is a replacement and the original design or size is unavailable, we will offer a full refund or store credit at your election.
5. Guarantee Conditions
— Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, as recorded in our system
— Applies to the original purchaser or verified gift recipient
— One remedy per garment - this guarantee covers each garment once
— The guarantee applies to the print only, not general fabric wear, fit, or colour
— Available to Australian customers only
— Proof of purchase (order number) is required to process a claim
— The garment must be returned to us for inspection before a remedy is issued
6. Australian Consumer Law — Your Statutory Rights
This guarantee is a voluntary manufacturer's guarantee offered by Milajac Pty Ltd (trading as OMENZ) in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Under the ACL, our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality but the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This Thrash It Print Guarantee does not limit, exclude, or replace your statutory rights. Where there is any conflict between this guarantee and your ACL rights, your ACL rights prevail.
